Like Duolingo, but for nature
If you like how Duolingo teaches a language a few minutes at a time, KnowKi does the same for the wildlife around you: the birds, plants, insects, and more that people actually record near your home.

A path, a few minutes at a time
Your home place gets a path of units, about six species each, from the most often seen to the rarer ones. Each unit has four short steps: meet the species, match them to photos, practice with new photos, then pass the checkpoint.
Your trail counts the days you learn in a row. Miss a single day, once a week, and a torpor day, like a hummingbird resting through a cold night, keeps it unbroken.
Reviews that make it stick
A species becomes kin once you know it in two different photos, on two different days. KnowKi brings back the ones that are due, so you remember them out on a walk.
Every day there are also three Dailies, five species each from your neighborhood, your country, and the world, with friends and neighbors on the same five.
